Yoga Instructor

Jay became a certified yoga instructor (200 RYT) in the fall of 2016 and has been teaching yoga classes at Avani ever since. Jay specializes in Yin, and refers to his daily yoga practice as an adult nap – which we could all use!

“I found yoga when everyday movement started to become difficult and my back pain became a daily occurrence. I continue to seek yoga for health maintenance and the lifetime pursuit of healthier living through diet + exercise, and aim to guide my fellow humans towards a healthier life, as well.”
